Most if not all of us know that discriminating against a person with a disability in the workplace is not only wrong, but it is also illegal. Unfortunately, more and more employers around the world are getting away with it day after day, after day. Not only is this happening to every day civilian's with disabilities, but sadly it is also happening to our military veterans who have come home from wars with permanent physical injuries or mental health challenges that may take months or maybe even years to overcome. Which ever the case may be, these people have every right to have the same chances of being hired for a job as anyone else. Some people with disabilities may find it easier to either start their own companies and work for themselves, or have other people work in a company that they have started, or maybe not even work at all if they have become discouraged enough because of the lack of jobs available and the lack of understanding from employers. If you have been discriminated against by an employer, chances are it may not be the first time that the employer has done this, and sadly unless someone stands up to them, it may not be the last. If you can relate to this and have been the victim of Employment Discrimination, you should see if it is too late to file a complaint against the company. If it is not, you should stand up for your rights, so that this does not happen to someone else.
