Take It To The Lord In Prayer

Posted by Ask Emily on April 25, 2014 at 3:50 PM

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Some people reading this post may be familiar with the saying, "take It to the Lord in Prayer", and some people not so much. If it's you or someone else who is struggling, you or they may not know or feel comfortable in know how to take your/their burdens and woes to the Lord.

For those of us who believe in the power of prayer know the good that comse from it. If you see someone who's struggling in one way or another, and you feel helpless in approaching this person because of your own personal situation that you may find yourself in, dont be hesitant to quitly, "take It To The Lord In prayer" ask or their healing etc.

There is nothing more powerful then a prayer for someone who is in need. If you feel that a person’s situation may be more than you can handle, involve your local church or your local prayer group. You may ask them to keep the request private and anonymous if you are concerned with how the person might react or respond to you in seeking the Lord's help on their behalf.

If you are reading this post finding that it has touched you or spoken to you in someway and would like to submit a prayer request for yourself or someone else. Please send us a private message stating:

1. That you have seen this post, and

2. What you would like our prayer team to pray for. Are you going through a hard time and feel that your resources for help are dwindling? We will pray for you and your request, and/or we will try to help you in finding resources that you may need. Some of you may have a diagnosis or be in situations that are more challenging. We want you to know that you are never alone and that help is here when you need it.

Another beautiful part in the power of prayer, is that there is no right or wrong way to do it, the Lord will hear and answer your prayers when you least expect it. Sometimes people might pray for something to happen immediately, but The Lord has His timing and knows best when to answer your prayers. Trust in Him that He knows what is best for you, and everything will work out the way that it is supposed to.
